Engineering Equation Solver
EES (pronounced 'ease') is an acronym for Engineering Equation Solver. The basic function provided by EES is the solution of a set of algebraic equations. EES can efficiently solve thousands of coupled non-linear algebraic equations. EES can also be used to solve initial value differential equations. EES provides publication-quality plots, linear and non-linear regression, optimization, unit conversion and consistency checking, and uncertainty analyses. Built-in functions are provided for thermodynamic and transport properties of many substances, including steam, air, refrigerants, cryogenic fluids, JANAF table gases, hydrocarbons and psychrometrics. Additional property data can be added. EES also allows user-written functions, procedures, modules, and tabular data.

EES (64 bit) Engineering Equation Solver (ees.exe) free download, latest version 10.2, EES (pronounced 'ease') is a general equation-solving program that can numerically solve thousands of coupled non-linear algebraic and differential equations. Free access to our website to download the EES setup program ended on September 1, 2020. Access to the setup program for the current Academic version and technical support are only available with a annual subscription to the Academic Update Service (AUS). EES (pronounced 'ease') is an acronym for Engineering Equation Solver. The basic function provided by EES is the solution of a set of algebraic equations. EES can also solve differential equations, equations with complex variables, do optimization, provide linear. EES is designed for the Microsoft Windows operating system. It can be accessed from computers on the CAE laboratory machines or from XENAPP. The XENAPP application makes it possible to run EES on a Macinstosh computer. See CAE documentation. for details.
Students and faculty at the University of Wisconsin may also copy EES for use on their Windows-based personal computers.
However, you must be connected to the UW-Madison internet system to use the Academic EES program. If you are not connected, the program will stop after a few minutes and you will lose your work.
The EES manual is named ees_manual.pdf. Click on the link to view or copy it. If you put a copy of the manual in the EES directory, you can access it from the EES Mannual command in the Help menu.
